Texas Sheet Cake - Marian Danielson Pearson

Bring to a boil in heavy sauce pan:
¾ cup oleo
1 cup water
3 T cocoa

Let cool while mixing in large bowl:

2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
½ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. salt

In small bowl, mix:

½ cup sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. soda

Mix chocolate liquid mixture with dry ingredients with mixer.

Add:
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

and the sour milk mixture. Beat well with mixer and pour into greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, until set in the center. Frost.
