1 cup margarine
1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs
4 1/2 to 5 cups flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix all ingredients. Refrigerate to chill the dough. Form into balls and flatten with a glass that has been dipped into flour to keep from sticking. Bake at 375 degrees until desired browness. They are extra delicious frosted with butter frosting.
