Mix together:
2 cups light brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 cup salad oil
2 cups pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
Then add and mix well:
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
4 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
Blend in at the last:
2 cups raisins
1 cup nuts
Drop by teaspoon onto oiled baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Yield—7 dozen. Note—There are no eggs in this recipe.
