Broiled Frosting For 9x13 Cake - Evelyn Salstrom Mungerson

4 T soft oleo or butter
1 cup coconut or nuts (if using both, use ½ cup of each)
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3 T cream (or milk)

Mix well in heavy pan and heat on stove. Spread on warm cake. Broil for short time, watching carefully, until golden brown and bubbly.
