2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 lb margarine (Vicki uses 1/2 butter, 1/2 Imperial margarine)
3 eggs, beaten
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
6 cups flour
3 - 12 oz. pkg. Nestle semisweet chocolate chips (4 1/2 cups)
Cream together brown sugar, white sugar, and margarine. Add beaten eggs and vanilla, mix until blended. Sift together salt, baking soda, and flour; add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Do not overbake - cookies will harden as they cool.
