Barbecued Ribs - Marjorie Seymour Lithgow

3 lbs. pork ribs (country style)
1 large onion, chopped, sauté in 2 T oil
½ cup molasses
1 cup catsup
½ cup water
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup prepared yellow mustard
1 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients except pork. Cook 10 minutes. Brush pieces of ribs with sauce and place in a shallow pan. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees). Turn occasionally and baste well. Bake 1 ½ to 2 hours or until tender. Ribs become more tender with a longer baking time.
