Green Beans with Shallots - Jana Lithgow

1 lb. green beans, whole, fresh or frozen
2-3 shallots, peeled and thinly sliced
2-3 T. butter

Cook green beans in small amount of salted water for 5-7 minutes. While beans are cooking, melt butter in small skillet and add shallots. Saute until golden brown. Drain beans, add cooked shallot mixture. Serve immediately.
